Mattel Games

Empower generations to explore the wonder of childhood.

At Mattel, I jumped into the world of tabletop games, starting as a Senior Graphic Designer and rising to Senior Lead Designer, where I’ve had the pleasure of working on fan-favorites like UNO, Scrabble, Pictionary, and Blokus. My first major project was leading the design and rebrand of UNO, which set the tone for its incredible success over the last ten years. I also played a key role in the rebranding efforts for Scrabble and Pictionary, ensuring these classic games stayed fresh and relevant. One of my proudest achievements was working on “Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters” alongside Game Designer Brian Yu and Illustrator Piero. It was my introduction to strategy games, and it went on to win the Spiel des Jahres, which was a huge honor. This project, along with my work on establishing the Adult Strategy line, really helped me grow as a designer. It taught me how to blend creative thinking with strategic planning, and how impactful great design can be in bringing a game to life and engaging its audience.
