Bloxels
Bloxels was a strategic partnership between Pixel Press and Mattel’s Advanced Concepts team, created to expand the brand from its Kickstarter success into mass-market retail. As part of this initiative, I played a pivotal role in evolving the Bloxels identity with retail in mind, focusing on building a brand experience that would resonate with a broader consumer base. This included managing all key aspects of the brand, from the visual identity and packaging to the marketing touchpoints that helped bring Bloxels to life in-store and across various platforms.
In addition to this, I had the opportunity to lead the design effort for the Star Wars extension, working closely with Disney and Lucas Films. This involved developing cohesive packaging and marketing assets that aligned with the iconic Star Wars brand, while also contributing to the strategy and storytelling behind the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for the apps. My goal was to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for users, allowing them to interact with the Bloxels platform in a way that felt intuitive and true to both the Bloxels and Star Wars universes.
