Spirits of the Wild

For Spirits of the Wild, I developed the theme and translated that into both package and product graphics. This involved creating a visual identity that not only reflected the game’s narrative but also resonated with its target audience. I concepted and art-directed all of the illustrations, working closely with the talented Syd Weiler to ensure the artwork brought the game’s mystical and nature-inspired themes to life. Syd’s style was a perfect fit, and my role was to guide the creative process, making sure each element aligned with the overall design vision.

Throughout the project, I worked both hands-on and as an art director, balancing the big-picture direction with attention to the smallest details. From initial sketches to final mechanicals, I ensured that the design flowed seamlessly from concept to production. Additionally, I created all of the 3D product and package renders that you see below, bringing the final designs to life in a way that allowed us to visualize the product in its fully realized form. This project was a blend of creative direction, illustration, and 3D visualization, resulting in a game that feels as good to look at as it does to play.
